Founded in 2015 as NASAA, the studio emerged from a search of an architectural language shaped by time, culture and place.
In 2025, AEON STUDIUM evolved from this vision, to become an architecture and urbanism practice developing a contemporary way of continuing tradition, working from territory to detail.
AEON represents architecture as continuity: the transmission and transformation of culture, knowledge, place and tradition through time.

A Mexican-Egyptian architect and urbanist dedicated to creating places rooted in tradition, identity, and permanence.
She holds a Master of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism from the University of Notre Dame and currently practices at Fairfax & Sammons Architects.
She is also Chair of INTBAU México, advancing traditional architecture and urbanism through education, research, and cultural initiatives.
She explores how the lessons of the past can shape better, more enduring places for the future.

Tradition is a living inheritance, shaped by generations of observation, refinement, and adaptation. It represents what has endured because it has proven meaningful, resilient, and deeply connected to human life.
Following tradition does not mean copying the past. It means learning from principles that have stood the test of time and carrying them forward with intelligence and responsibility. It anchors architecture and urbanism in something deeper than fashion, giving continuity to cities, identity to communities, and meaning to the places we inhabit.
Without this thread, the built environment risks becoming interchangeable, detached from culture, memory, and the people it is meant to serve.
Progress and tradition are not opposites. True progress builds upon inherited wisdom rather than discarding it. Every generation has the responsibility to preserve what is valuable, improve what can be improved, and contribute something worthy to those who will come after. The measure of our work is not whether it is novel, but whether it enriches the long story of civilization.
Our goal is to create places that belong to their people, respect their history, and remain meaningful for generations. In doing so, we honor those who came before us, serve those who live today, and leave a legacy that future generations will be proud to inherit.
